A few things people ask before the first appointment.
First visit
01What should I bring to my first visit?
A photo ID, your insurance card if you have one, any imaging reports and a list of medications you take. Wear clothes you can move in. Arrive 10 minutes early.
02How long is the first visit?
About 60 minutes, including the conversation, the exam and a talk about what was found. Later visits are usually shorter.
Safety
01I hit my head recently. Should I come in?
See a physician or an emergency room first, especially with a worsening headache, vomiting, confusion or drowsiness. Once a physician has seen you, call us to talk about what we can do alongside that care.
